As part of an educational endeavor to help my nurses at work as well as fellow SLP colleagues familiarize themselves with tracheostomy and SLP role with this population the creation of Badge Buddies and TRACHtalks was born. 

After creating the badges and providing inservice style lectures, I have noticed the nurses are more equipped with a better understanding of the population's need for SLP services, and both the nurses/MDs and SLPS are able to advocate for their tracheostomy patients.
