Rachael Silveira is an ASHA Licensed SLP currently working at a Level 1 Trauma Hospital in Miami, Fl who specializes in feeding/swallowing disorders throughout the lifespan. Rachael has diverse training in dysphagia management associated with respiratory compromised/artificial airways populations, medically complex neurogenic populations as well as NICU feeding/swallowing complications.
Rachael had made patient advocacy and improving overall patient quality of life a personal mission and goal throughout her years as an SLP. She has spearheaded a robust “Tracheostomy Team” in her facility with a mission of providing exceptional care to the tracheostomy population.
She strives to provide a constant commitment to education by providing clinical mentorship to students during externships as well as provided support for several administrative teams on Medical SLP platforms to promote continued growth in our SLP community.
